This is a film about courage and heroism, about the courage and perseverance of Russian officers who, despite all the difficulties of the nineties, did not betray themselves and their homeland. This story is dedicated to the soldiers who did not change their duty, honor and oath. The story is about those who are ready to go to the end for the sake of their Fatherland….
In the center of the narrative are three main characters – Lieutenant Colonel Soshnikov (prototype pilot Oleg Peshkov), Captain Muravyev (prototype navigator Murakhtin) and Major Zakharov (a collective image of an officer of Special Operations Forces). Three different characters, three different destinies that are destined to come together at the Khmeimim military base.
The main characters will cross paths for the first time in the Crimea in a survival training camp for pilots. Young, bold and sharp-tongued Ants, unlike his balanced and solid senior comrade in the regiment Soshnikov, immediately disliked instructor Zakharov. His peremptory manner of communication annoys the young captain. The Special Forces soldier responds to him “reciprocate”. The trio will meet for the second time in the Syrian Republic.
The plot of the film is an artistically meaningful story of the stay of our armed forces in Syria, episodes of the war with ISIS (an international terrorist organization banned in the territory of the Russian Federation) and an operation to rescue a navigator who, as a result of an attack on our plane, landed on enemy territory.
The film tells in detail about the events that took place on November 24, 2015, a little more than two months after the stay of our Armed Forces in friendly Syria.
